Thai visitors

Hi all,

We had the pleasure of having Mickey from Sainamtip School in Thailand joining our classes for this week. His buddy was Wen Kai, who did a great job of showing him around the school. Today, Mickey will be spending the night at Wen Kai's house. Hope he has a wonderful home stay. All the best to Mickey as he leaves us.

Maths Homework

Yesterday, you were asked to complete pages 25-28 of the Chapter 2 of the Maths Workbook. 

Today, the homework is to complete Worksheet 2. 

This homework does not apply to the ICAN pupils.

As mentioned yesterday, please complete Chapter 1 of the Maths workbook, together with the corrections. 

For Science, please complete pages 15. 16 and 17 of the Activity 4 worksheet.

Bring "Cycles" activity book

Hi all,

For those who haven't done so yet, please bring the "Cycles" activity book tomorrow. While we are not starting on the topic of "Cycles" yet, we need to start doing an activity inside the book now. 

Science spelling

Hi all,

Yesterday, the pupils received the Science spelling list. We will conduct the Science spelling on Tuesdays. For Human Digestive System, words 1-10 will be tested on Week 3, words 11-20 will be tested on Week 4. For Life Cycles, words 1-10 will be tested on Week 5, words 11-20 will be tested on Week 7.

Complete page 22 of the Maths textbook at home. 

For those who have not handed in the Individual Student Details Report, please do so by tomorrow.

Classroom decoration cancelled

Hi all,

I'm sorry to announce that the classroom decoration for 4D is cancelled tomorrow as I will be on sick leave. Please do not stay back after school and parents need not come. If you have made items to submit for classroom decoration, please hand them in. I will decorate the classroom some other time. Thank you. 

Classroom decoration this Friday

Hi all,

We will be decorating our classroom after school this Friday. Some pupils and some parents have indicated their interest to stay back and help out in the classroom decoration and I am very thankful for that. 

I had informed the class that I would start the classroom decoration at 1.15pm but I think it would be better to allow pupils some time to eat before decorating so we shall start at 1.45pm instead at 4D classroom. I hope to complete the classroom decoration and dismiss the pupils by 3pm.

No need to purchase Systems activity book

Welcome to 2016!

Hi all,

I would like to wish all of you a warm welcome to 4D in 2016. I will be your form teacher for this year and Ms Gowri will be our co-form teacher. 

You would have received the pupil handbook, timetable, pupil profile form, class dojo form, yellow principal letter and subscription to Young Scientist form today. Please return the pupil profile form and class dojo form by tomorrow. 

Please remember to bring your thermometer to school tomorrow. I will collect it and keep it in class until the temperature taking exercise on Thursday. 

Other than that, I look forward to teaching all of you and may we excel to achieve our goals this year!
